11/07/19 Today was freerunning class. We started off with wall macacos.  Then we did gate flips.  We did wrap fulls after that. For those who need an explanation: Wall macacos: Macaco is sort of like a backhand spring except you only put one hand down.  Then you kick back over your shoulder which makes it off axis. To do a wall macaco you do a macaco except instead of putting your hand on the ground you put it on the wall and push through your shoulder so you can make it to your feet. Gate flips: Gate flip is where you put two hands on the corner of a platform and then you swing your legs up together and right when they are above the object you push off the object with both hands and then flip. Tac fulls: Like a full except on the takeoff you will put one foot off of the object and then do a full.

My friend Collin and I went to do some freerunning at the park.  The park in Bluffdale across from North Star Academy has some great areas for freerunning.  We use the whole park and have a good time.  We use the walls for wall tricks.  Collin did round off fulls.  I worked on palm flips.  I did my first palm today.

Summer 2019 I broke my toe last spring.  If finally healed after 6 weeks.  As soon as I was cleared to do freerunning and parkour again, I was right back at it.  Unfortunately I did a flip and as I hit my landing I heard a pop in what I thought was my hip.  I figured I had popped my hip out of socket.  It hurt like crazy.  I went to the doctor and found out after some x rays that I had broken my lesser trochanter.  I was forced to take the entire summer off.    First the toe, then the lesser trochanter.  Not my year.....
